Katherine is our resident jewelry maker. Although she uses both new and old beads, she specializes in re-using faux beads from old jewelry scavenged at estate auctions, thrift shops, etc. (or donated by generous friends and relatives) and giving them a new life and a new look!
Katherine has a special interest in the fashions and designs of the past, especially the Victorian era. She likes to give her jewelry a classic beauty and femininity, and preserve some of the beauty of the past by breathing new life into the forgotten or broken jewelry she works with. Katherine tries to bring this classic look to the new beads that she works with as well, and so unite the beauty of the past with the the present.
Remember as you shop that all of our earrings come with clear earring backs. Slip them on the end of the fishhook once the earring is in your ear to help prevent your earrings from sliding off. Also remember that there is NO SHIPPING charge on jewelry purchases!
